Who We Are
A Congress for HealthTech Inventors, Clinicians & Active Patients
Tec2Med Summit was born to connect clinicians and engineers, back in 2018. Since the first edition in 2019 we have been growing as the main portuguese platform that connects them in a curated learning and ideation environment.
The 6th European Summit will discuss how healthcare sytems must be designed to embody preventive models instead of reactive ones. All inventors and researchers who are interested in addressing this topic are invited to register and submit work in the event.

Tec2Med Summit annually receives the work of researchers, both student and non-student. We invite you to submit your R&D work as a poster or abstract at our congress. Please check the Official Regulations and submit your work before 18th September.
Who is Hosting the event?
Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Lusófona University
The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Universidade Lusófona (FMV-ULusófona) is dedicated to advancing veterinary medicine and related professional practice. It has run the Integrated Master's in Veterinary Medicine since 2004, adapted to the Bologna process in 2007. Since 2014, it has also awarded a Bachelor's Diploma in Basic Veterinary Sciences followed by a second-cycle Master's degree in Veterinary Medicine, totaling 330 ECTS credits.
The faculty maintains a qualified core teaching staff, complemented by visiting professors from internationally recognized veterinary institutions. An Ethics Committee ensures animal welfare standards are upheld in teaching and research activities involving animals. FMV-ULusófona's curriculum emphasizes hands-on, practice-based learning that exposes students to real-world veterinary practice, resulting in strong professional and scientific outcomes, high student satisfaction, and strong employment rates. Students' motivation—many having chosen the program as their first choice—extends into a culture of lifelong learning, supported by the faculty's postgraduate programs led by renowned national and international specialists.
